National off-road champion Billy Hargy along with Oliver Paterno and Kai Alston claimed top three finishes on June 19 and 20.
Hargy finished on the podium in both the junior light 125cc and junior light 250cc divisions while Paterno was up towards the top in the 12-15 year old 85cc class.
East Coast MX promoter Michel Constantinou said weather conditions made for a challenging weekend although the host club delivered a high standard track.
"The club did a great job improving the track on both days," he said.
"With wet weather the track is a lot more difficult to ride on and they had two guys on quads following the riders on Sunday because they were dropping like flies.
"But they picked them up before they hit the ground to keep them moving. Whatever we needed they had it on tap."
Around 300 riders competed although a number withdrew the day before the event due to concerns with the weather.
"Normally we would have between 300 and 350 being the middle race of the series and most of our rider base is in Sydney and the Hunter so it's a fair drive," Constantinou said.
"This year is our 10th anniversary year and in 10 years we've been to Port Macquarie eight times; we didn't come last year because of COVID and we didn't come here in our first year."
Hastings Valley Motorcycle Club president Greg Harris conceded it was a "pretty wet weekend, but we got through it."
"As a club and track we got compliments from the officials saying how the event ran smoothly, particularly given the tough conditions with weather," he said.
"It was pleasing to still see smiles on everyone's faces at the end of the day given the tough conditions as well as the sportsmanship shown by most."
The club will hold the next race meeting on July 24 and 25 with their 50th anniversary dinner to be held on October 23 at Wauchope RSL.
