Its Waugh Street rented headquarters is up for sale.
The centre has enjoyed a fixed low rent for the past 14 years but the time has come for the property owner to sell the building.
Hastings Neighbourhood Services manager Leesa-Rae Harrison thanked John Frary for his in-kind support for 14 years.
The vital service is searching for a new home due to the building being placed on the market for sale.
"We are looking for subsidised low rent and somewhere the community would feel comfortable for us to be and run programs from," Ms Harrison said.
The centre also hopes to relocate its community garden.
The Wauchope Information and Neighbourhood Centre, which runs on skeleton staff and volunteers, acts as a referral centre for support services and provides food, financial and literacy assistance.
Its programs include a community garden group, before school breakfast club and the Food Connect program which provides free food to people who have hit hard times.
Employment, youth support, domestic violence and financial support services use the premises to provide assistance to the community.
In order to maintain these services, according to Ms Harrison, it is urgent they find a new venue.
"We are hoping that people in the community might know of a place that is suitable and affordable for us," Ms Harrison said.
"Ideally we would love an old home or office as the multiple rooms give us the flexibility to provide multiple services.
"The centre currently opens Monday to Thursday, and the nature of our work means that it is difficult to share premises with other organisations, unless they are also in the social support field."
Ms Harrison said they were happy to think laterally and open to any suggestions.
"Ideally, we would love to stay where we are, but that would mean whoever buys this property is willing to continue keeping us as tenants," she said.
