Eight years later she is still running around for Wauchope and on Saturday she will play her 100th game for the club when the Blues host Old Bar.
"I've never been the type to play sport in a dress like netball or do dancing because I came from a background of the more boyish sports," she said.
"My dad did karate and kickboxing when we were younger and then that stopped so I took up league tag instead."
While she didn't hate the sport after her first game in 2013, Tori didn't envisage still playing nearly a decade later.
"But now I probably see myself playing for another eight years," she said.
"I wasn't involved in footy before league tag so I didn't know (100 games) was a milestone so it's definitely a proud achievement."
The Blues head into the match as the only undefeated team remaining on the Group 3 league tag ladder and Tori said the reason for their success was due to the environment.
"The whole vibe around the club is good in general and our whole team is doing well sitting up the top," she said.
Coach Aaron Ison has played his part in getting the best out of his team.
"Buzz is a pretty good coach and hard taskmaster so he focuses on us and gives us the time and attention we need," she said.
"The most important thing is the friendship in the team and how you bond with them more than anything."
