A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a serious collision with a car on King Creek Road, west of Port Macquarie.

About 2.40pm on Sunday, June 6, emergency services were called to King Creek Road, King Creek, about 5km west of Wauchope, after a motorcycle and Holden Statesman sedan collided.
The rider, a 51-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however, he died at the scene.
The Holden driver, a 74-year-old man, was taken to Port Macquarie Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He also underwent mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established by officers from Mid North Coast Police District, before investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit attended.
Investigations continue.
