The Shamrocks were white-hot and extended their winning streak to eight matches in a 60-4 demolition job of Comboyne.
They were too big, too fast, too skilful and now they're sitting pretty at the top of the ladder on 16 points with the performance certainly not going unnoticed by Hastings League president Geoff Connor.
The match was over at half-time with the Shammies leading 30-0, which is in slight contrast to previous weeks.
"They're in red-hot form; Comboyne aren't going all that bad." he said.
Four weeks ago, the Tigers were sitting in second spot on the ladder.
"Beechwood are just super fit and have been winning games in the last 20 minutes. They're the benchmark at the moment."
Surprise packets Lower Macleay continued to creep up the ladder with a surprise 24-20 win over second-placed Kendall.
The Magpies have now joined the Blues in equal second spot.
"Lower Macleay have had a few ordinary years, but now they're starting to click together," Connor said.
Out at Long Flat, two father-son combinations were on show as the Dragons cruised past Lake Cathie 44-20.
Jason and Brock Costigan took to the field for Long Flat while Shane and Kade Franklin played for the Raiders.
"You don't see that very often," Connor said.
"Jason and Shane also played for Long Flat in the 2009 grand final against Macquarie Hotel and they're still out there running around."
The Raiders remain anchored to the bottom of the ladder with Harrington a rung above them although the Hurricanes pushed Laurieton all the way in a 28-20 defeat.
"Both Harrington and Cathie are struggling; they're playing against sides who have been together for years, but both sides are competitive for periods of the match."
South West Rocks had the bye.
"They're the sleeping giants and are not playing that well, but they've got the players to come good."
This weekend Lower Macleay host the Marlins, Kendall tackle Long Flat, Harrington and Lake Cathie face off at Harrington and Laurieton host Beechwood.
The fixture could be moved to Beechwood pending the availability of Laurieton Oval.
