COVID can't stop the glitz and glamour of the annual Winter Glimmer Ball with organisers this year encouraging families and friends to gather at home and host a dazzling brunch, lunch or dinner to raise funds for the Hastings Cancer Trust.
This year, the Winter Glimmer Dinner will replace the annual ball held at the Sails Resort in Port Macquarie.
Supporters are encouraged to turn their next social catch up with friends into a fundraising event for the Trust.
The 'at home' events can be held any time between June 19 and July 31.
Hosts can register now on the Hastings Cancer Trust website hastingscancertrust.org.au and receive a fundraising page to share with friends as well as hosting tips and invitation templates.
Make tax deductible donations for your hosted event, through the easy links on the website and from June 1, check out the Trust's list of silent auction items which will be up for grabs.
The Hastings Cancer Trust is passionate about improving cancer services in Port Macquarie-Hastings, and all proceeds from the Winter Glimmer Dinner will be directed towards the annual grants program in August.
