More Australians need to be vaccinated before the nations borders can be reopened, NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian says.

Across NSW, almost a million people had been immunised as of Monday night, with a record 11,415 vaccines administered in a 24 hour period.
"I don't want us to be closed off from the world longer than we need to," Ms Berejiklian said.
The comments come as Prime Minister Scott Morrison comes under increasing pressure to reopen the country's borders.
Sticking with political matters and Queensland could become Australia's fourth state to legalise euthanasia with the government introducing a voluntary assisted dying bill to parliament next week.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says Labor MPs will be allowed to have a conscience vote on the bill and indicated she will support it.
Under the bill, people choosing euthanasia must have an eligible condition, which is either a disease, illness or medical condition that is advanced, progressive and will cause death.
Their condition must be expected to cause their death within 12 months and it must causing suffering that is "intolerable".
In Victoria, the state government will spend almost $1 billion constructing 25 new trains.
The state budget will include X'Trapolis 2.0 trains, gradually replacing its ageing Comeng fleet. Manufacturing will begin in late 2022, with the trains expected to be running on the Craigieburn, Frankston and Upfield lines by 2026.
About 60 per cent of design and manufacturing will be done in Victoria, supporting about 750 jobs across manufacturing and supply chains.
Also making news today is Dexter Kruger, who became Australia's oldest man on record on Monday, at 111 years and 124 days old.
When he was born in January 1910, Alfred Deakin was the country's prime minister - though Canberra itself was not the capital.
He has lived through two world wars, seen rockets launched into space and man walk on the moon.
He has seen advances in technology, from telephones to tablets.
The former grazier from Roma overtook World War I veteran Jack Lockett, who died in 2002 aged 111 years and 123 days.
