Participants are encouraged to dig for treasure in the sand at Town Beach for the fundraising events ninth year on Sunday, May 16.
There are four under 10s age groups for the event, the registration will go ahead at 9am and the first dig for under 3s starting at 10.30am. The family big dig will start at noon.
Event organiser Peter Grob said the event is shaping up to be another great one.
"We couldn't have the event last year we hope and know that it will be a great success this year," he said.
"Although many companies suffered during the year because of COVID-19 we went to buy prizes from them and a number of businesses still insisted on giving support for free. There are some amazing prizes this year.
"It's an interesting family fun day where we can make some money and then give it away."

Mr Grob said more than 1000 parents and children typically attend the event to dig buried treasure (tokens) on the beach and exchange their token for a prize.
"For the family big dig we expect to have about 150 to 170 prizes, which is fantastic," he said.
"I expect to have 400 to 500 people down there. There will be lots of entertainment and the pirate ship jumping castle will make a return again this year."
This year every child dressed as a pirate will receive a prize and there will be a number of games such as walking the plank, a dunking station, selfie in the stocks, pirate jumping castle, sand wizard, face painting and big football dartboard.
Children are welcome to meet mascots Healthy Harold from Life Education, Ditto from Bravehearts and Whizzy the Water Drop.
There will also be food available at a coffee cart, barbecue tent and cup cake tent. Tickets are $5 per child while the Big Dig is $30 per person.
Previous beneficiaries of the event include Bravehearts, Life Education, The Mera School Project, Give Me 5 for Kids, L2P Learner Driver, Liberty Cottage and Food Connect.
