The Liverpool legend will be a guest speaker at Port Macquarie Golf Club as part of a fundraiser for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and Port Chamber of Commerce combined charity golf day.
The South African-born midfielder played in the English Football League between 1977 and 1988, winning the European Cup, five league titles and an FA Cup (scoring in the 1986 final) with Liverpool.
He was also part of the Reds' 1985-86 winning double team.
A golf day will also form part of the fundraising day with a choice of either nine or 18-hole, four-person Ambrose with a tee-off to take place at 10.30am and 11.30am for the 18 teams.
Tee-off will be between 1pm and 2pm for the nine teams.
