Bloom is returning to her former home town Port Macquarie to speak on the business challenges of 2020 and how to grow and find momentum in 2021. Her message is challenging and entertaining in equal measure.
After leaving her patch in Port Mac, Bloom ran an advertising agency for 20 years before she became the CEO of two international aid charities: one funded a network of hospitals and a midwifery school in Ethiopia and another funded schools and clinics in Cambodia.
She is also the founder of the world's first childbirth education program for men which is run in pubs all over Australia; the author of two books including her memoir, Get the Girls Out which was published to rave reviews in 2019.
Bloom will be the featured key note speaker at the next Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce Boardroom Lunch, co-hosted with the Hastings Business Women's Network and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, on Friday, May 7.
"We are most fortunate to be able to host such a dynamic and exceptional communicator for this Boardroom Lunch," Mark Wilson, executive officer, Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce, said.
"Lucy is a former local and looks forward to presenting on what a challenge 2020 was, how to celebrate growth through innovation and change and onwards and upwards for 2021.
"This is a rare opportunity, and one not to be missed, to hear from this award-winning leader and speaker."
Co-hosted by the Hastings Business Women's Network, this exclusive event will be held at The Westport Club.
Tickets can be purchased on the Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce website.
