An injured rock fisherman was winched to safety by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter at Wallabi Point.

Just before 3pm on Monday, April 26, the helicopter was deployed by Ambulance NSW to the beach after receiving reports of an injured man.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, reportedly slipped on rocks and fractured his lower leg.
Paramedics and emergency services attended the scene and began treatment until the helicopter arrived.
Due to limited access and no landing sites in the area, a critical care paramedic was lowered to the rocks.
Once treated and stabilised, the man was winched out of the location and flown to Port Macquarie Hospital in a stable condition.
He will undergo further treatment.
