AFL North Coast has held a "soft" launch of their 2021 season on April 5.

The women's grade will increase from four to seven with the addition of Lismore and the return of Port Macquarie as well as the admission of Grafton and Nambucca Valley for the first time.
Five teams will contest the reserve grade competition while four teams will battle it out in the under-17s with Port Macquarie to return and the fixture list to highlight a cross-conference round against clubs from AFL North West.
The Festival of Footy pre-season carnival will be held on April 17 which will feature all teams and all matches played across three grounds at C.ex Coffs International Stadium and Leisure Park.
A special function will be held on April 17 to celebrate the 40th consecutive season of the AFL North Coast competition.
