The now three-time champions dug themselves out of a significant hole to recover from 3-7 in the second over to chase down the 90 required for the win.
In the 25th year of the event Kahlan Duncan and Jak Dobbyns couldn't quite get the home side across the line with the ball.
A match-winning partnership of 83 runs between Steve Brbch and Toby Fraser was enough to get their team home on the very last ball.
Macquarie's Josh Hyde and Matt Lill made it four-straight tournament wins - the only players so far to achieve this feat.
Hyde was awarded the Judy Fowler player of the tournament, while Logan Myers was the Brett Border best junior.
Hyde was the best batsmen with 86 runs on the day, while Kahlan Duncan took the best bowling figures of 6-36.
Myers also took the best catch of the day while BDM Constructions' Jason Blythe hammered the most sixes.
Tournament organiser Darren McCudden said it was good to see the ground dry out enough to see the event proceed following the flood devastation.
"The day itself was fitting of the occasion," he said.
