Team members are contributing their expertise at evacuation centres with nursing, allied health, mental health and administration support.
Mid North Coast Local Health District chief executive Stewart Dowrick thanked all those involved in supporting our communities and each other.
"I also want to thank the great many of our team who volunteer with local emergency organisations such as the State Emergency Service and Rural Fire Service," he said.
"You've been out there transporting medication to those cut off by floodwaters.
"You've been filling sandbags and providing comfort and care to people at local evacuation centres.
"You never stop caring for your community and your efforts are so greatly appreciated."
