On Saturday January 23, Hello Sailor raised money for Lifeline Mid Coast by charging patrons a small amount to participate in a listening party for the Hottest 100 countdown.
Licensee Lee Wood said: "We had an amazing turnout to enjoy this now iconic Hottest 100 day at Hello Sailor.
"It was made more special to enable our community to give support to Lifeline Mid Coast and their ongoing work."
Crisis support team member Alexis Williams said the day was wonderful, well supported and enjoyed by all.
"The money raised by the event will go towards sponsoring a local telephone crisis supporter," she said.
Hello Sailor matched the amount raised on the day enabling Lifeline Mid Coast to train a further telephone crisis supporter.
Australia's favourite songs from 2020 are now locked into countdown history books with Glass Animals taking out the number one spot with 66 songs in the countdown coming from Australian artists.
Nationally the day raised more than $653,000 for Lifeline, meaning 16,700 crucial calls can be answered.
