The huge fruit sits pride of place outside the Kew Corner Store and invites members of the public to guess its weight for a charity competition.
Visitors can guess the weight of the pumpkin for a gold coin donation. A correct answer will win either a $100 voucher or 30 free coffees. All proceeds from the competition will be donated to charity group, Community@3.
Kew Corner Store owner Staffan Andler said the sizable produce was grown in Herons Creek by local plumber Jason McCarron.
"It's been here since Friday, January 15 and people can have a look at it until January 31 or the beginning of February ," he said.
"It's generating a bit of interest and definitely different to the other locally grown produce we have here.
"I think there has been around 100 guesses so far, there are a few people who drink coffee here and want the thirty free coffee.
"The competition is a bit of fun and it raises a few dollars for a good cause."
The Camden Haven Community at 3 helps people who are homeless, lonely or in financial difficulty. The group provides free barbecue events and support.
