Long Point Vineyard will donate $5 from each ticket sold from singer-songwriter's Ben Lee upcoming concert to the Lake Cathie Rural Fire Brigade.

Long Point Vineyard sales, marketing and events manager Mel Leitch said they were close to losing the vineyard to bushfire in 2019.

The brigade volunteers' tireless efforts in October 2019 ensured the fire didn't cross the vineyard's boundary fences.

"We were holding our breath to see if the vineyard survived," Ms Leitch said.

"The RFS were there day and night to save the vineyard and they did.

"This [donation] is just a small way of saying thank you."

Lake Cathie Rural Fire Brigade senior deputy captain Bruce Smail said the vineyard's support was just brilliant.

He said the volunteers were not looking for a pat on the back but they really appreciated the recognition.

"We are just so overwhelmed and very grateful for the support our community gives us," Mr Smail said.

Music lovers snapped up 150 tickets to the March 13 Ben Lee Live concert in the first couple of days.

Ms Leitch predicts the concert's 500 tickets will sell out.

Ben Lee rose to prominence as frontman of the band Noise Addict at the age of 14, and then as a solo artist in 1995, releasing 10 studio albums since then.

The March 13 event will be the vineyard's first concert in 2021 as it bounces back from a COVID-related closure.

Tickets to Ben Lee Live at Long Point Vineyard on March 13 cost $45, plus a booking fee, and are available via independent ticketing company Oztix.
