The money was raised during a modified version of the Governor's Retirement Resort treasure trove and raffle.
The donation is the latest example of generosity from the River Park Road retirement resort.
Governor's Retirement Resort started raising funds several years ago for charities which have little or no government support.
Representatives presented the $840 donation to Sailability Port Macquarie on behalf of residents and staff.
Governor's Retirement Resort resident Philippa Reiss said the presentation was also a chance to meet up with Sailability volunteers.
She said they were working towards another fundraiser for Sailability in 2021.
Sailability Port Macquarie president Bob Walsh expressed the group's appreciation for the donation.
"Rest assured, every penny of it goes to ensure our clients have free, safe sailing," he said.
Sailability Port Macquarie has 89 volunteers and more than 125 clients.
The group, which has not been on the water since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hopes to resume sailing in 2021.
Sailability Port Macquarie is a volunteer organisation dedicated to provide sailing for people with disabilities.
