The charity collection is by organised by Velvet-Rose's Pin Up Dressing Room with a drop off location at unit four, 38-40 Lake Road from November 11 to December 14.
Members of the public can donate presents suitable for women, men and children to be distributed in the community or in the refuge on December 15.
Event organiser Dale MacMillan, also known as Ms Dale Velvet-Rose, said the collection has been running for around five years.
"We started because I'd always wanted to leave a present for women, gentlemen and children. To help them get through Christmas and give things that they may not be able to afford themselves," Mrs MacMillan said.
"Other people in my life have been helped through services like Liberty House, and a lot of pin up girls are drawn to the style because of self confidence issues."
"For me the collection is a great excuse to get presents for children in need, as I have no children myself.
"We put a little label on the present such as 'boy' or 'girl' to help volunteers distribute them. Common items to donate might be puzzles or games for children, you might include special bathroom stuff for the ladies that they might be able to afford right now.
"Even things like chocolates may help someone enjoy Christmas this year. We're just looking to make the season brighter for someone in need."
Pin up style was prominent in the 1940s and 1950s when women sent messages and photos to soldiers serving in conflicts away from home, said Mrs MacMillan.
