A Port Macquarie man charged in relation to an alleged arson attack has fronted Port Macquarie Local Court.

Sam Allen Evans, 28 of Braemar Street, appeared before magistrate Georgina Darcy on Wednesday November 18, 2020.
Evans was charged with, break and enter a house and destroy property, damage property by fire and break and enter a house and steal.
Bail was not applied for and was refused. No pleas have been entered.
Court documents indicate that sometime between 4am and 4.40am on June 8, 2019, Evans entered the business premises at 101 Horton Street, Port Macquarie and committed a serious indictable offence.
He is also charged in relation to the alleged break and enter at a kitchen joinery on Ocean Drive at Kew.
Police will allege Evans stole an Acer brand laptop and an Apple iPad.
Emergency services were called to the Dumpling Noodle House on Horton Street at about 4.25am, following reports the structure was well alight.
Crews from NSW Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the blaze.
Two businesses were destroyed as a result of the fire.
Detectives from Mid North Coast Police District commenced an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
Following extensive inquiries, investigators arrested Evans.
Investigations under Strike Force Carrer are continuing and further arrests are expected.
Magistrate Darcy adjourned the case against Evans to the Port Macquarie Local court on January 21, 2021.
