POLICE are investigating two break-ins at Port Macquarie Golf Club's pro shop after thieves smashed their way into the building to steal petty cash.

The Pro Shop was broken into on Thursday, November 12 and again on Tuesday, smashing a window, tearing open a screen door and taking the cash box which contained a minimal amount of money.
Police have obtained finger prints from the scene and are requesting anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
Pro Shop staff posted on social media how disappointed they were by the senseless vandalism and theft.
"As if 2020 hasn't been hard enough so far. We were broken in to on Thursday morning, two drop kicks made off with a fair bit of cash.
"We got everything fixed and we were more prepared in case someone tried to come back again.
"Last night one of the same bludgers returned for another go, smashing another window, destroyed my back screen door, stole my till causing more than a thousand dollars in damage all for maybe $30 in 5,10,20 and 50 cent coins."
Staffed thanked Port Macquarie Police for their prompt assistance on both occasions.
