The preschool received a grant to purchase a new bus to roll out its transportation program.
Centre director Megan Jones said having access to quality early childhood education and care can have substantial beneficial effects on the overall development and educational success for children.
"To better support a family's ability to access to services, we have recently embarked on a preschool transportation program," Megan said.
"We provide a fully supervised, daily pick-up and drop-off service for enrolled families."
The preschool has strong links with the Birpai community and is the only preschool in Port Macquarie with an ongoing Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) endorsed by Narragunnawali and Reconciliation Australia.
"With all aspects of service operations we endeavour to embed an Indigenous perspective and for the bus graphics, we commissioned artwork from local Aboriginal artist Dave Donovan.
"The artwork depicts sea creatures that would be found in our local community and are so eye catching."
