More than 50 riders are expected to take part in racing on the Sunday, after a practice day with alternating senior and junior sessions on the Saturday from 8am to 5pm at the Port Macquarie Kart Racing Club.
Supermoto racing is held on sections of hard packed dirt tracks featuring irregular jumps and paved tarmac. Riders are encouraged to ride any motorcycle under 650cc with a minimum requirement gear and motorcycle inspection before racing.
Rider's Club representative Jean-Gabriel Laine said the main race day will run with Senior A, Senior B, under 40's, over 40's and juniors divisions.
"Our days are more family orientated and focus on everyone having a great time with lots of track time and the minimal price," Mr Laine said.
"Our last event on August 29 was cancelled due to COVID, the previous one we ran was February 26.
"During COVID we transformed our sign-on process so registration is fully online, including payment. Bike inspection is contactless, everybody fills a form they bring with them.
"It's easy to spectate outside of the venue with enough social distancing."
