The club hosted its fourth annual Breast Cancer Charity Golf Day in support of Mid North Coast Cancer Institute's breast cancer patients on October 28.
More than 130 members played in the Ambrose competition, but fashions on the green stole the spotlight as some teams played while wearing tutus and belly-dancing outfits.
Golfer Shirley O'Keefe, who attended the event, said her family has seen the effects of breast cancer.
"I first saw it in the family with my cousin. It changed her life a lot, she had both breasts off and it travelled to her brain after that," she said.
"She fought it for years and sadly she passed away. It was very sad because she was such a beautiful person.
"Recently my niece had it too. She has come through it and it now motivates her to compete in dragon boats."
Women's president Patsy Choo said breast cancer can drastically change a person's outlook on life.
"We have friends who have had breast cancer and a lot of the ladies playing here today have friends who have had it," Ms Choo said.
"We are very supportive of this worthy cause and we have received support from our sponsors. We raise money from the raffle and all funds go towards the Mid North Coast Cancer Institute to be used for cancer survivors and patients.
"Cancer can change a persons outlook on life. You reflect on what you are doing and what your priorities are, it can even be your friends on the golf course or a dream to travel around Australia.
"We try to make sure our members are doing well and if they are not well, we give them a ring to support them."
This year the event again attracted support from event sponsor KFC Port Macquarie and Port Macquarie Service Centre.
