Kevin Such, of Riverbreeze Drive, Crosslands was sentenced in the Port Macquarie Local Court on Wednesday October 21.
He appeared before Magistrate Georgina Darcy.
Such pleaded guilty to driving with a middle range PCA - .144 reading - and driving while never holding a licence.
The incidents occurred on July 4, 2020.
Legal Aid's Alex White said Such had been raised in a household where alcohol was prevalent.
"But he has learnt a lesson and has expressed to me a high level of remorse for his action," Ms White told the court.
"I also note that this incident took place at around 11.40pm - when there was little or no traffic or pedestrians."
Magistrate Darcy noted that Such had "expressed a level of regret" regarding the incident.
"However, he should never have been driving a motor vehicle anyway," she said.
"He was doing burnouts when the car collided with the kerb and guttering on Weismantle Street.
"And that certainly created quite a lot of noise too.
"He was also seen to punch the windscreen after the vehicle came to a stop.
"Mr Such needs to understand that he could have injured or killed someone else."
Magistrate Darcy convicted Such on both charges.
On the mid range charge, Such was ordered to be disqualified from driving, put on a six month interlock program, ordered to serve a 12 month community corrections order and to serve 50 hours community service.
Such was disqualified from driving for 12 months from October 21, 2020 and fined $400 on the second charge.
