Justin Hooper, 40, of Barker Street, appeared before magistrate Georgina Darcy on Tuesday September 15.
Hooper appeared via AVL and pleaded guilty to two counts of stalking and one count of driving recklessly.
A further charge of, driving a motor vehicle while menacing another person was withdrawn.
All the incidents occurred on May 25, 2019 at Wauchope.
Magistrate Darcy convicted Hooper, sentencing him to an aggregate intensive corrections order for two years and to abstain from alcohol and drugs.
The electronic monitoring was part of the sentencing. Hooper was also disqualified from driving for three years.
Court paper indicated that Hooper was in a relationship with one of victims but the relationship had broken down.
"The victim was driving on High Street Wauchope when she noticed Hooper behind her vehicle," the court papers said. "The victim continued driving east on the Oxley Highway into the 100km/h zone.
"The accused continued tailgating the victim and a witness.
"The driver of the vehicle looked in her rear-view mirror and could see the windscreen and roof of the accused's vehicle. "But he was so close she was not able to see his headlights or any part of the front grill," the facts said.
"This caused the victim and witness immediate fear as they felt a serious accident was going to happen."
Police facts indicate that the accused continued to tailgate the victim before overtaking and braking heavily coming to a complete stop.
"The victim was able to slow her vehicle in time to avoid a collision, before overtaking Hooper's vehicle.
"The accused accelerated to the rear of the victim's vehicle again, this time flashing his high beam headlights."
According to the court documents, Hooper overtook the victim's vehicle before making a U-turn.
"The accused drove his vehicle on the incorrect side of the road directly toward the victim's vehicle," the police facts said.
The facts indicate that Hooper continued to tailgate the victim.
The victim and the witness then drove to the Wauchope Police Station.
