A PORT Macquarie restaurant has been issued a COVID infringement notice and a liquor offence fines.

At 6pm on Saturday, August 15, Mid North Coast Police District licensing police attended a restaurant on Gordon Street, Port Macquarie and conducted a COVID-19 inspection and liquor licence inspection.
Licensing police detected several offences including the lack of a COVID-19 plan, along with offences relating to requirements under the Liquor Act 2007.
An infringement notice was issued for failing to comply with noticed direction in relation to Sect 7/8/9 COVID-19 and a $1000 fine was issued.
The premises also copped a $1100 fine with the licensee selling liquor while not holding a current recognised competency card.
A $220 fine was issued for failing to display a prescribed notice regarding the sale or supply of liquor to minors.
A compliance notice was issued for not producing a current liquor licence.
