Re: Council seeks feedback on idea to close Port Macquarie CBD to traffic for a few hours on Sunday. The idea seems unmotivated as no explanations are given. Council needs to keep the public informed of why it wants to take this action. It is certainly not as transparent as it often claims to be. On the face of it, there seems to be no good reason to close the CBD to traffic on Sundays. John Oxley Port Macquarie
