As well, local committee president Jenny Watts is calling on businesses to also support the day by registering to become of the fundraising effort.
Mrs Watts says COVID-19 restrictions means fundraising on a large scale is not possible.
"We hope to see a lot of smaller fundraisers being held across the Mid-North Coast," she said.
Along with the fundraising aspect, the committee is also part of the awareness campaign design to prevent child sexual assault and exploitation.
Business and individuals can register for free to participate on the day - Friday September 11.
"When you register, you will receive a support pack, which includes posters, bunting and a donation box," Mrs Watts said.
"We are also asking people to wear white on the day and make a donation to the cause.

"Fundraising can be an organised walk, a morning tea, a craft morning or a lunch.
"Keeping children safe should be everyone's business and if we each put in an effort it will make Australia a safer place for our children."
Mrs Watts says the data on child abuse and exploitation is alarming.
She said one in five children will be sexually assaulted by the time they are 18 years of age.
"And in 70 to 90 per cent of those reported cases, the perpetrator is known and trusted to those children.
"Ninety-eight per cent of cases reported by children are found to be true, however, one in three Australians say they would not believe a child who reported abuse to them.
"So there is still a lot of work to be done," she said.
Mrs Watts said she was pleased that several businesses had already signed up for the event.
She said the process was designed not to be onerous for business or individuals.
Bravehearts Australia is the country's leading child protection organisation working to prevent sexual assault and exploitation.
It offers counselling services, support for children and families and they also provide personal education programs for children.
Bravehearts also lobbies government at all levels.
The Mid-North Coast committee last year was able to provide 1600 children with access to the program, at a cost of some $20,000.
Bravehearts was founded in 1997 by Hetty Johnston AM following her young daughter's disclosure of sexual assault.
