The pair, formerly known as Lennox Lust, are working around the current COVID-19 restrictions by performing live music via social media and streaming.
The duo said moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 2019 has helped them both understand more about the music industry.
"Life has changed in many different ways since making Nashville home. Being here has definitely helped us understand the music industry a great deal more," they said.
"It's also been quite the adventure in general 'becoming American' so to say, when you think of getting driver's licences, social security and things of that nature.
"But besides all that fun stuff, it's been amazing to be in such a creative atmosphere where our field of work is the heart of the city."
The coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on their touring and performing opportunities, they said.
"We certainly worry just as much as most others are and should be. It's certainly affected us as it has everyone around the world," they said.
"It has changed or cancelled essentially all 2020 travel opportunities and tours. One thing we have found out is just how loyal and supportive our fanbase is.
"We already knew this, but to put something into perspective, this next single has actually been completely funded by the Facebook Lives (performances) we have done.
"When people have tipped us virtually we have put 100 per cent of that straight into funding this single.
"Releasing music can certainly be expensive. From the recording costs, producing costs, paying people that are playing instruments on the song, promotional costs, photoshoots and video shoots.
"It all adds up and to think that it was all paid for by our fanbase through us playing songs over Facebook; it's incredibly humbling for us and we could not be more grateful."
The duo have previously performed at Port Macquarie's Wildwood Festival, Purple Sanctuary, Byron Bay and at Hard Rock Cafe in Surfers Paradise. Hambly once enamoured local fans with performances at Finnian's Irish Tavern and local restaurants.
They are now eagerly awaiting the release of their new single, "Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet)" on August 7 this year.
"We are so excited about it. This song is over a year in the making," they said.
"We have put a lot into getting it to a point where we thought the production would do the song itself justice.
"Even just singing the song was tough enough. But we cannot wait until it is out and we can start playing it live.
"We are really proud of it. It's emotional, the lyrics are pretty intense and we feel like a lot of people have felt what we are talking about in the song so we are very excited to get it out there."
