Barbarian Hogs team manager Teale Bryan can vouch for that after his team's first two matches in the lower Mid North Coast rugby union competition.
The Hogs were put together as a last-minute addition to the 2020 season and after 160 minutes of game time, the results are there for all to see.
Some believed they were going to blitz the competition, but an ageing forward pack and the occasional inability to kick-off more than 10 metres, have meant a few amusing moments.
"The team wasn't put together on performance, it was put together on heart and wanting to play," Bryan said.
"Our average age in the forward pack is probably 40; I'm 46 and had a crack and now there are some injuries creeping in, but we didn't go down there expecting to win the competition."
Port Macquarie Pirates' duo Kaes Besseling and Reece Martin have provided some quality moments despite battling against some "well-oiled backlines out there".
"Young Besso and Reece have been standouts, but all our games have been played in good spirit and the clubs have welcomed us," Bryan said.
"That's the way it is, we put the team together on players having a bit of fun."
