That's the message from coach Dan Kemp to his players ahead of this Saturday's crunch under-18 Group 3 rugby league clash with Wingham.
The Breakers were off the pace in a 24-12 opening-round loss to Forster last weekend.
"They played better footy for the majority of the game, but kept doubling up on negatives," Kemp said.
"If they gave away one penalty, they gave away two. If they dropped one ball, they dropped two."
The coach remained confident his side had enough talent to suggest they'll be there at the end of the year despite the early signs of rustiness.
"It was their first game of footy in 12 months so you can't be too critical," he said.
"But you can't lose two games in a row in such a short competition ... no way."
Due to health regulations, all matches will be played in four quarters throughout the season.
"From a footy point of view I don't think it's a good thing because the game doesn't get any momentum," Kemp said.
"It's not ideal, but I understand, as long as the boys are playing footy."
Saturday's match kicks off at 2.30pm at Woods Street.
