Junior players Millie and Ruby Williams will take to the courts for another year while mum Sarah will play her first game in more than a decade.
The trio were preparing for a start back in March until the COVID-19 pandemic put a temporary end to most sporting competitions.
But now it's all systems go.
Millie will play her second season of netball after having a taste of it in 'Go - Returning Netta' last year.
Her interest in the sport can be traced back to having netball hoops set up at home combined with watching older sister Ruby play every Saturday.
"I sometimes shot some hoops with Ruby and then liked it and wanted to play in an actual team," she said.
"It will be good to be able to play with my friends this weekend and do what I like playing."
Ruby is preparing to play in her fifth season overall.
"I did two years of NetSetGo and two years of netta and then this year is my first competitive year," she said.
Waiting for the green light to return to the courts had been a challenge, but she was excited to finally be able to play.
"It's been very annoying," she said.
After watching five years of Ruby running around the courts while also occasionally spending time as coach, the itch became too much for mum Sarah.
"It's been around 16 years of not playing, but watching Ruby finally got to me," she said.
"Then the club was looking to set up an adult team so we got a few friends together and getting back into team sport after so long out is one of the draw cards for the ladies in our team."
