Port Macquarie-Hastings libraries have reopened with restrictions due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Visitors have gradually increased since the libraries reopened for browsing and borrowing.
Computers are again available for public use but with a 30-minute time limit.
People need to sanitise their hands on entry to the library, maintain physical distancing and limit their visits to 30 minutes.
Library members can also make online reservations, which are free for now, and collect the reserved items from the library.
Returned items are quarantined for three days.
Library manager Jim Maguire said the library was trying to provide as many services as possible but there were restrictions due to COVID-19.
"The big loss for us is the library has always been a community place where we encourage people to come in and spend time, and we are not able to do that at the moment," he said.
Mr Maguire encouraged people to download the library service's new app.
Members can use the app to make reservations, manage their accounts, use self-checkout, access the e-library and more.
Online author talks are continuing.
There is still time to register on the library's website for the online chat on Saturday, July 4 with popular Australian author Tom Keneally as he talks about life, writing and his newest release The Dickens Boy.
Online children's activities are planned for the school holidays, while online storytime will continue after the school holiday break.
Library members also have access to a range of online services.
