The call has gone out for artists in the Hastings interested in being a presenter in a new online creative workshop series.
Artists are encouraged to submit an expression of interest to be a presenter in the series of workshops.
The concept is for 10 different online hourly workshops to be recorded for future viewing on the Creative Wauchope website and as a promotional tool for the artist.
Creative Wauchope spokesperson Lisa McPherson said we have an amazing creative community in the Hastings.
"This is a great opportunity for local artists to gain some new skills, develop their online presence and reach new people," she said.
"The online series aims to foster the growth of our creatives and to encourage creative thinking in the wider community.
"By offering an online experience, the workshops can be accessed across the globe, helping our local artists engage new audiences."
The Wauchope Chamber of Commerce and Creative Wauchope sub-committee welcomes the bushfire recovery funding, which has allowed them to facilitate the program.
The bushfire recovery funding was allocated through Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.
"After many months of drought, bushfires and then COVID disruption, we look forward to working with the local creative industries and activating new opportunities," Ms McPherson said.
Hastings artists are asked to submit an overview of their proposed online workshop by July 13.
Applications can be submitted through the Wauchope Chamber of Commerce website.
