The NSW Government has announced that all businesses including cinemas, theatres, performance halls, theme parks and show grounds can reopen from July 1.

Majestic Cinemas chief executive Kieran Dell said there will be more content in cinemas than on TV for the second half of this year.

"We will be looking to open officially on July 3," Mr Dell said.

"We have got some of the films running that were on when we closed such as Sonic The Hedgehog, The Invisible Man, Bloodshot as well as the Current War and Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears.

"We will also be screening a documentary on Peter Brock called Over the Top."

Mr Dell said the cinemas will run a series of Pixar classics over the school holidays such as the original Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, with discounted prices.

"TV production has finished and they've shot all their arrows already but cinemas have 50 movies that were to be released but have been held back," he said.

"On July 23 the next Mulan movie will be released and that will be a big one.

"Movies like Top Gun Maverick, Peter Rabbit Two, Black Widow are all pushed back to Boxing Day. James Bond is back with No Time To Die in November. The new Wonder Woman movie was going to be in August but is now in October, it should be a good one as well.

"We have a heap of movies that we were going to be showing earlier in the year which are now ready to come to light. There will be a lot of new content for cinema enthusiasts once we open in July."
