Ged was named the male boat rower of the year at the awards.
Surf Boat Team of the Year went to the Cassowaries - Matt Bird, David Luck, Tony Kee, Ged Roods and (Sweep) Manfred Sonntag. Aaron and Karen Roods accepted on Ged's behalf.
