Member for Oxley Melinda Pavey said the State Government funds would deliver much-needed improvements to local facilities.
The funding recipients at Wauchope are:
Wauchope Country Club - $15,868 for Stage 1 Irrigation Upgrade and Water Use Management. The funds will be used to upgrade ageing irrigation infrastructure and improve recycled water usage.
Wauchope Memorial District Hospital Auxiliary - $8740 to purchase a covered, lockable trailer for fundraising stock. The trailer will alleviate storage issues and cut the hours spent unloading and loading stock for fundraising activities.
Riding for the Disabled - $7025 for a new roof to shelter riders, volunteers and horses in the tie up and mounting area.
Wauchope Men's Shed - $5056 towards upgrades to electrical wiring and lighting.
"This funding for grassroots projects is fantastic news," Mrs Pavey said.
"It will directly help create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social, environmental and-or recreational outcomes.
"I congratulate all the organisations that were successful in their applications and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area."
