Charles Sturt Vice-Chancellor's Chair of Australia-Indigenous Belonging, Professor Stan Grant Jnr, will interview water advocate and marathon runner Mina Guli.
Stan Grant in conversation with Mina Guli will be an engaging event as she shares her story while informing participants on how they can make a difference.
Ms Guli ran 40 marathons in 40 days across six continents to raise awareness about the global water crisis. Her international efforts have gained her recognition as one of Fortune Magazine's Top 50 Leaders in the world.
She will share her experience and expertise with Professor Grant as she continues her crusade in an Exploration Series event hosted by Charles Sturt's Incubator Hubs.
Charles Sturt's manager of Incubator Hubs Annette Davies said the university is honoured to host an event that showcased two extraordinary Australians.
"The indomitable Mina Guli being interviewed by renowned journalist Professor Stan Grant ... this event is a wonderful opportunity to come together to learn what drives someone like Mina to perform these extraordinary feats," Ms Davies said.
"She's bringing about increased awareness of the issue of the global water crisis and, in spite of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is still working hard to forge new paths to bring much-needed change to the issue.
"Charles Sturt University's Innovation Hubs are committed to showcasing inspiring talents and enriching our regions and we are excited to invite everyone to this special event."
Register for this free event on Tuesday, June 16 on the Eventbrite website.
