A man will face court today (May 28) charged with murder following the death of another man near Kempsey.

Just after 6.30pm on May 27, police were called to a home at Euroka, near Kempsey, following reports of a man armed with a firearm.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District attended and established a perimeter.
A man, allegedly armed with a firearm, walked out of the home just after 8.30pm and was arrested without incident.
The occupant, a 63-year-old man, was found fatally injured inside the home and a crime scene has been established.
The 46-year-old man was taken to Kempsey Police Station and charged with murder.
He has been refused bail to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court on May 28.
The men are known to each other and inquiries are continuing.
