Farmers and artisan producers joined the one-stop online shop and delivery service, Port Macquarie Food Hub, after Andrew Hearne from Near River Produce fast tracked the idea as the sector faced a loss of trade from cafes and restaurants due to coronavirus pandemic.
Ian McKittrick from Ewetopia Farm at Ellenborough said it was great for the producers to come together and kick off a positive new way of doing things.
"Having lost markets and restaurants, it's really good to have a fresh way of being able to reach our customers," he said.
Mr McKittrick said the food hub made it easier for customers to access a range of products.
Claudia Carroll from Amani Farm said they were extremely excited to be part of the initiative.

"It's really positive to be able to provide fresh produce to the local community," Ms Carroll said.
"We are proud of our pasture raised, fresh, direct from the farm free range eggs."
The food hub is already evolving and offering a wider range of products.
Mr Hearne said he was more than happy with the initial response from customers.
"The response from the community, both generally and from the first customers, has been really favourable," he said.
