Think 2050 - Community Strategic Plan
Think 2050 aims to engage the entire Port Macquarie-Hastings community.
This plan is an opportunity to Think 2050 and create the region's future together.
The Community Strategic Plan (CSP) is an overarching 10 year plan that is prepared by council and the community based on community priorities. It enables council to coordinate its funding priorities, activities and services.
Think 2050 seeks feedback on what you love about our community, what we need, what we should change and how we can overcome our challenges. What would you like to see by 2050?
Bonny Hills Reserves Master Plan
In 2012 council developed and adopted the Bonny Hills Reserves Master Plan to provide a clear, long term strategic vision for council and community groups to deliver.
The Master Plan, which includes Rainbow Beach, the Community Hall and Bartlett's Beach Reserves, was developed in collaboration with Bonny Hills Progress Association and involved comprehensive community engagement to ensure that the community's vision for these spaces were understood and captured as key actions.
Council is now embarking on a variety of wide-ranging community engagement activities to ensure all members of the community have the opportunity to have their say and provide feedback on the creation of the plan.
Council wants to hear when, how and why community members utilise these reserve areas, and what the future of these areas looks like.

Rocks Ferry Reserve Playground
Rocks Ferry Reserve Playground in Wauchope has been included in the 2019-2020 Operational Plan for a $102,500 upgrade this financial year.
The proposed upgrade for this playground is to include additional play elements, footpath connections, bubbler and planting, along with an upgrade to the existing swing and embankment slide.

Red Ochre Playground
Red Ochre Playground is a new playground that will be built on Howell Avenue, off The Point Drive in Brierley Hills, Port Macquarie.
Council is after feedback on the theme of the playground and the elements park users would like to see included in the final design.
