The allocation under Port Macquarie-Hastings Council's Event Sponsorship Program supports events which attract, or have the potential to attract, a significant number of visitors.
Motofest Wauchope, Surf 'n' Country, Elephant Trail Race and Gardenista each received $4000.
King of the Mountain and David 'Goose' Gosby Memorial each received $2000.
Motofest spokesperson Jenny Pursehouse said they were thrilled with the $4000 allocation.
The money will go towards an improved website and marketing the event to areas within a day's ride from Wauchope.
Motofest is a one day motorcycle-based event held at Wauchope Showground annually since 2017.
Mrs Pursehouse said Motofest was very important for the Wauchope community.
"This will be our fourth year and each year it has been growing steadily," she said.
There had been 100 per cent support from businesses and the broader community, Mrs Pursehouse said.
Motofest is organised by a small group of dedicated volunteers from the Wauchope Motorcycle Friendly Town Committee under the guidance of the Wauchope Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Deputy mayor Lisa Intemann said the round two funding allocations continued the council's support of local events.
Mayor Peta Pinson asked whether the council was better placed to bring back the matter to a council meeting at a later date given the uncertainty around events due to the coronavirus.
The funding round was open to events in the second half of 2020.
Acting director Liesa Davies encouraged the councillors to continue with the allocation and the council staff would liaise with event owners over their ability to run the events in light of the coronavirus.
The council has provided $183,500 through the Event Sponsorship Program since early 2015 with an economic impact of about $12.5 million being realised.
Cr Pinson said the council had supported a lot of events through the program.
Event Sponsorship Program applicants must demonstrate the event is either a driver of significant overnight visitation or has the potential to grow to major event status with a significant economic impact.
