Many cafes and restaurants who are trying to keep their doors open have adapted to the new normal by offering home delivery services.
To meet the demand, Zooom Delivery in Tamworth has fast-tracked a plan to establish a service in Port Macquarie to help out.
Ryan Blair said they are touching base with as many Hastings businesses as they can to help them transition into a delivery service model.
"In Tamworth we have about 40 cafes, restaurants, butchers and grocers on board," Mr Blair said.
Mr Blair founded the business over the range after experiencing a difficult personal time himself and says it's the true Aussie spirit to be working together to help others out when the going gets tough.
"We want to help local businesses to keep making money," he said.
Zooom Delivery will now operate out of Port Macquarie. Details are on their website.
