The shops are those located at Kempsey, Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Taree, Forster and their new shop at Wingham.
Ongoing developments with the coronavirus prompted CEO Catherine Vaara to take measures to prioritise the health and safety of staff, volunteers, donors and customers.
"We would like to thank people for their understanding and support," Catherine said.
"As you can imagine this will have massive impacts on us financially and emotionally. We are putting in new measures now to ensure that text services and phone lines remain open despite the continuing lockdowns.
"Our service believes that it is critical to make sure that mental health services are available especially when isolation is being imposed and social interaction will be limited."
If you're finding it hard to cope, Lifeline is here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 13 11 14, or nightly via online or Lifeline Text.
The text service is available 6pm to midnight (AEDT) on 0477 13 11 14 and the online service is available from 7pm to midnight (AEDT).
Lifeline Mid Coast is asking people to follow them on Facebook for updates as the situation progresses.
