However to protect volunteers and staff from COVID-19, and for visitor well-being, changes have been introduced.
The free, 3pm guided tour is cancelled. To learn about koalas, visitors can pick up a free flyer with a map, and information about the Koala Hospital and its resident koalas at the hospital and take a 'self-guided tour'.
Roving guides may be at the hospital some days, in the morning and afternoon.
The koala museum, the 'Koalaseum', is closed.
The shop will have restricted hours and will open 10am-2pm every day. Opening hours will be reviewed weekly.
The Adopt a Wild Koala program is available online - it is $40 to adopt a koala.
Visitors are encouraged to read and follow the Australian Government health and personal hygiene posters which are visible around the Koala Hospital.
