The action on Saturday, March 7 featured heavy horse and harness events, markets, demonstrations, the championship dog show and pavilion exhibitions.
The pavilion displays ranged from produce to flowers and art, plants, preserves and baking.
Groups raised awareness about their organisations, while the crowd watched the activities on offer.
Lyne MP Dr David Gillespie and Oxley MP Melinda Pavey handed out awards.
Dr Gillespie officially opened the show.
Sunday, March 8 will include equestrian and sporting events as well as a range of other activities.
Comboyne Agricultural and Horticultural Association president Rodney Fisher said the Comboyne Show was a happy occasion.
"It's one of the big occasions that we have in Comboyne," he said.
