The toilet block was set on fire back in December, 2019, but on February 19, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council confirmed a new toilet block would be built in the coming months.
A Port Macquarie-Hastings Council spokesperson said council had received notification they will be receiving the replacement amenity components at the end March or early in April.
"The installation of the toilet block will take approximately three weeks,' the spokesperson said.
"The temporary amenities will still be in place over the Easter period."
Also the good news is that once the amenities block is installed, the mural will be re-painted by the original artist, and her design will be extended to cover more of the amenities block.
Emergency services were called to the blaze at 11.26pm on Monday, December 16 and at the time Bonny Hills Rural Fire Brigade captain Glenn Dunn said crews arrived to find the toilet block engulfed by fire but it only took crews 15 minutes to contain.
