The day will be held at the Port Macquarie Golf Club with the first group teeing off to a shotgun start at 7am and the second group beginning at midday.
Annually the volunteer organisation needs to raise around $110,000 to ensure they can function 24 hours a day, seven days a week saving lives at sea.
Golf day organiser Christine Dixon said the day was shaping up to be a great day on the green.
"We already have 187 golfers registered for the day and from past years we hope the strong community support continues," Ms Dixon said.
"There will be a raffle and auction in the afternoon and we hope the community gets behind us to make is a great day for all.
"A huge thank you also must go to our major sponsors and all the local businesses who have helped make the day possible."
Marine Rescue Port Macquarie unit commander Greg Davies said the golf day was always a highlight on the calendar.
"This is the sixth year of the golf day and we are so thrilled the community always get behind the great day," Mr Davies said.
"We are encouraging people to and play golf but also to come along to the club in the afternoon to take part in the fundraising auction and raffles and to watch the winners presentation.
"Hopefully it will be a great day for everyone."
