The keg-tossing, beer yoga and street food extravaganza returns to Westport Park from 1pm to 7.30pm on Saturday, February 22.

The annual event was postponed in November last year due to fire activity across the region.

The unexpected reschedule has yielded additional brewers for the event and secured headline live music act, Chase The Sun, according to festival director Scott Mesiti.

"The change actually increased our lineup because we did have a number of brewers who weren't available in November last year," he said.

"We went back out to some of the brewers who couldn't make November and actually picked up a couple more.

"We've also got the Chase The Sun band. They weren't on the original lineup but they'll headlining the rebooted event. They actually couldn't make the November date so when we rescheduled we went straight back to them to check if they could do it."

Local and out of town brewers will lead the festival lineup including Balter Brewing Company, Black Duck Brewery, Bucket Brewery and Capital Brewing Co.

They will be joined by FBC Beverages Pty Ltd T/A -Fernbank Creek Cidery, The Welders Dog, Moore Beer Brewing Co, Stone and Wood Brewing Company and The Coastal Brewing Company.

The thirst-quenchers continue with Wicked Elf Beers, Six String Brewing, Colonial Brewing Co, BentSpoke Brewing, Towers Cider, Gage Road Brewing and FKA Cider.

"The event is tracking very well and we always see the ticket sales up tick at the last minute, we're expecting to be very close to sell out," said Mr Mesiti.

"We delayed until February to give those affected by fires chance to recover and we're hoping they can use this as a moment of celebration.

"We have some new additions this year with beer yoga to kick off the event. The keg toss is back, we have a great lineup of live music and we're family friendly with kids rides and games. Most of all, there will be a huge amount of tastings on offer and a little side bar of non beer and cider offerings."

Ticket holders for the November 16, 2019 event will be able to attend the new date.
